Morokolo Game Lodge is situated on the northern slopes of the Pilanesberg Mountains in the Black Rhino Game Reserve. Recently incorporated into the Pilanesberg National Park, it boasts a rich variety of wildlife, predators, fauna and flora. The Big 5 and scores of wildlife roam free around the private luxurious Morokolo Game Lodge, just 1.5 hours’ drive from Johannesburg.

Morokolo Game Lodge is the ideal wildlife safari getaway destination for couples, families and small corporate or tourist groups throughout the year. The lodge is equipped with its own top-of-the-range, 10-seater game drive vehicle with a private game ranger offering you full access to the Pilanesberg National Park. End the day with a traditional African braai at the lodge, or alternatively enjoy the quality cuisine from our reserve restaurant, five minutes away from the accommodation.

Our main entertainment building is open plan, fully air-conditioned and includes a private dining room for up to 12 guests with indoor braai facilities. A fully equipped kitchen and scullery with modern appliances and a breakfast nook is available to guests. There is a relaxing lounge area with a plasma screen, DStv, DVD player and surround sound, and a classy bar area with a pool table. Our undercover patio includes a table and chairs for 12 guests, an open-air boma with braai, a refreshing pool sunken into a paved deck and an intimate Jacuzzi behind a screen lattice for relaxing sundowner cocktails.

We offer four luxury double rooms with spacious full en-suite bathrooms boasting oval stone baths, modern finishes and a private courtyard with outside shower. Two of these are family rooms with upstairs mezzanine lofts offering two additional single beds. Each room has a bar fridge and coffee and tea facilities, is fully air-conditioned, has a cosy fireplace and a private patio. The four rooms are all linked to the main entertainment building by walkways.
